The Ups and Downs of
Yo-yos
All kids like toys all over the world. As a
child, I always wanted to have my own toys. One of the toys I wanted to have
was the Yo-yo. In the 1990s yo-yos were very popular and kids used to make so
many yo-yos tricks. My cousin Mariano was an expert with yo-yos. During one of
my summer vacation, I saw how he could play that lightening yo-yo. His father
brought that yo-yo with beautiful decorations from the United States.
The yo-yos were used in the entire world, even
in Anime a character had the power to control the yo-yo. The character comes
from the Anime Hunter x Hunter and the date was March 1988 just when the yo-yos
were still popular in Japan.

The yo-yos disappeared from the popularity. I
personally think that technology played a big part with taking the yo-yos out
of the market. After Nintendo and video arcade kids don’t want to play any physical
game, we prefer to play it online.
