Mastering The Law Of Gravity is when you control,move or you go farther time in the air.for example,Michael Jordan earn the nickname "air-Jordan" for his jumping ability.
Michael Jeffrey Jordan was born in February 17,1963,he also know by his initials by ,mj,he is an American former professional basketball player,entrepreneur,principal owner and chairman of the charlotte Hornets.He pleyed 15 seasons in the National Basketball Association(NBA),for the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards.
Michael Jordan was one of  the greatest basketball player of all times.in addition,jordan was one of the most marketed athletes of hi generation in the NBA around the world in the 1980s and 1990s.Jordan joined the NBA in 1984 and he quickly  emerged as a league star.He entertaining crowds his prolific scoring,his leaping ability.Jordan illustrated the publics by performing slam dunk from the free throw line in slam dunking contests earned him the name air jordan and his airness,as well he gained a reputation for being one of best defensive player in basketball.

Gavin Menzies theory  about who discovered America is so interesting. He made some investigations  about the discovery of America, but it is not so clear.  In my opinion, I do not think that the Chinese discovered America due to since I was a little girl and I was in school my Social Studies teachers  have always told me that Christopher Columbus is the person who discovered America.

   The Yo-yo is an old plaything. It is think that the yo-yo  was originated in China about 3,000 years ago. In those times Yo-yos were different  as they are now. They were made of wood and metal, but now they are made in a bigger variety of materials. Yo-yos were considered as stress relievers.

   It is amazing how a person can mater some movements others cannot. In the case of this interesting action movies choreographer, I have to say that  Yuen Wo-Ping  is so clever and the most famous in his area. There are other people who have the capacity of master the gravity. One example of it is the famous basketball player, Michael Jordan, who can jump in a way that other basketball players cannot jump. Another example could be Jackie Chan, who was born in Hong Kong. He is an excellent action and martial arts movies actor. Jackie Chan has been recognized many times for his awesome performances.

A Legend is semi-true story,which has been handed down from generation to generation;person-to-person,in  addition,they have an important meaning for the culture in which it originates.they are bases on historical facs with "mythic qualiries ",likewise ;Legend usually involve heroic characters in it.on the other hand,a myth is a story based on tradition or legend,in which has a deep symbolic meaning.myth convey a truth  massage to those who tells it and to  the hearer or audience.Although some myths may or may not have  believe by the people.myth can be  accounts of actual events,and they have become different by symbolic meaning from time to time or place the great power of these stories are the culture in which they are developed,what is the major reason why they still survive for such long they did.

What do you like or dislike about baseball ?what I like about  baseball is a home run,in baseball a home run is score when the ball is hit is such way that the batter is able to circle the bases and reach home safely in one play without any errors being  committed by the defensive team in the process.In modern baseball,the feat is typically achieved by hitting the bal over the outfield fence between the foul poles without first touching the ground,resulting in an automatic home run.there is also the inside-the-park home run what is  rare to see in modern baseball today,where the batter reach home without to be out while the ball is in play on the field.when a home run is scored,the batter is also  credited with a hit and a run scored,besides that a RBI for each runner that scores,including himself.In the same way,the pitcher is recorded as having viven up a hit,as well a run for each runner that scored and the batter,too
In other words,a home run is one of the most important and popular aspects the game,at present,in major league baseball the home run récord is 762,hold by Barry Bonds who broke Hank Aaron's record on august 7,2007 and among  the active player Alex Rodríguez hold the record with 647 home run and now the home run champions of the year is Nelson cruz with 40 home runs

The unit is about  Gavin Menzies, a British historian,that claims Chiense Admiral Zheng He set up colonies and sailed round South America before Columbus, Menzies' new book, 'Who Discovered America?' also claims the Chinese have been sailing to the New World since 40,000 BC across the Pacific Ocean

In his bestselling book, "1421: The Year China Discovered America,"British amateur historian Gavin Menzies turns the story of the Europeans' discovery of America on its ear with a startling idea: Chinese sailors beat Christopher Columbus to the Americas by more than 70 years. The book has generated controversy within the halls of scholarship. Anthropologists, archaeologists, historians and linguists alike have debunked much of the evidence that Menzies used to support his notion, which has come to be called the 1421 theory.

The Yo-Yos

 Today class, we read a interesting topic. The Topic presents a history of the toy known as the yo-yo. acording the topic , U.S. inventor Donald F. Duncan, Sr., was the most significant promoter of the yo-yo in the U.S. The topic states that the yo-yo is considered the second-oldest toy in history, discusses the yo-yo's popularity in the U.S. and states that the toy was given its name by Philippine immigrant Pedro Flores. The article also states that Duncan purchased the rights to the yo-yo from Flores in 1929. but here we have some  pictures showing why people really love Yo.-Yos.

Something that caught my attention this unit was the littler description about the movie CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON, so i looked for it and i want to share a littler information of it.

Two warriors in pursuit of a stolen sword and a notorious fugitive are led to an impetuous, physically skilled, adolescent nobleman's daughter, who is at a crossroads in her life.

Taiwanese filmmaker Ang Lee took a break from making Western period dramas to fashion this wild and woolly martial arts spectacular featuring special effects and action sequences courtesy of the choreographer of The Matrix (1999), Yuen Woo Ping. In the early 19th century, martial arts master Li Mu Bai (Chow Yun-Fat) is about to retire and enter a life of meditation, though he quietly longs to avenge the death of his master, who was killed by Jade Fox (Cheng Pei-pei). He gives his sword, a fabled 400-year-old weapon known as Green Destiny, to his friend, fellow martial arts wizard and secret love Yu Shu Lien (Michelle Yeoh), so that she may deliver it to Sir Te (Sihung Lung). Upon arrival in Peking, Yu happens upon Jen (Zhang Ziyi), a vivacious, willful politician's daughter. That night, a mysterious masked thief swipes Green Destiny, with Yu in hot pursuit -- resulting in the first of several martial arts action set pieces during the film. Li arrives in Beijing and eventually discovers that Jen is not only the masked thief but is also in cahoots with the evil Jade. In spite of this, Li sees great talent in Jen as a fighter and offers to school her in the finer points of martial arts and selflessness, an offer that Jen promptly rebukes. THE NAME GAME


The lesson has gave me points about what important is a product or company name. According the lesson, the name is the first point of contact that a company has with the world. and is the trick to reflect the product the company is going to sell. All these names maintain close relations with the product name, but some name are totally invented and that is one of the advantages  fora corporation because making up a name is that this name is then the unambigous property of the company.

In some cases Some companies have chosen names that have nothing to do  with their business.  Apple and Domino´s are some examples. however they have succeeded despite or maybe becuse of their unusual names.

 

My dream company!

When I was just a little girl I used to dream about having my own travel agency. In those times, there were many reasons I wanted to be a travel agent. First, I loved to visit new places. Second, I used to dream about visiting other countries. Third, that bussiness was a good one. The time has passed and the dream of having that company is still alive. I would like to have the opportunity for turning my dreams into reality.
